Revise the first sentence in the paragraph that begins with "Any prospective Bidder desiring an explanation" to read as follows: Any prospective Bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Bid Documents, shall request the explanation or interpretation in writing by close of business three business days preceding the bid opening to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their Bids. Supplement 1-02.4(1) by adding the following: Bidder acknowledges that he/she has not relied on representation or warranty of the City not expressly included in the Contract Documents. The information provided by the City is not intended to be a substitute for, or a supplement to, the independent verification by the Bidder to the extent such independent investigation of the Drawings and Specifications or Site conditions is deemed necessary or desirable by the Bidder. Bidder acknowledges that they have not relied upon City or Engineer furnished information regarding site conditions in preparing and submitting a Bid.
