It appears that the toilet and bathing areas in the Type B units (all units other than Type <br /> A) follow Option B (one toilet and bathing area to comply with Section 1004.11.3.2). <br /> a. All Type B units have been verifying and mark with the proper layout to indicate <br /> clear floor space. Refer to sheet A2.1, A2.2, A2.3. <br /> 6) The clear floor space should be shown at the bathing fixtures in the Type B units. <br /> Section 1004.11.3.2.3 <br /> a. All bathing fixtures have been marked with the clear floor space per Type B unit <br /> requirements. Refer to sheet A2.1, A2.2, A2.3. <br /> Energy <br /> Testing requirements of the envelope air leakage should be shown on the plans. WSEC <br /> Section R402.4.1.2 <br /> a. A note has been an edit to sheet A2.1, A2.2, A2.3, A3.4 about the envelope air <br /> leakage testing. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br /> Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections <br /> requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing <br /> Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical <br /> Code (IMC), and the 2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of <br /> Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for <br /> accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI <br /> A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. <br /> These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required <br /> by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire).
