7. Schematic Design Document Deliverables: <br /> A. Cover,title sheet. <br /> B. Architecture,Interior Design Drawings: <br /> i. Existing conditions plans. <br /> ii. Demolition plans. <br /> iii. Floor plans. <br /> iv. Code study/compliance plans. <br /> v. Floor finish plans, <br /> vi. Reflected ceiling plans. <br /> vii. Preliminary Furniture plans. <br /> viii. Primary floor,wall, and ceiling. <br /> C. Other Reference Documents: <br /> i. Outline specifications,Pricing Narrative. <br /> 8. Meeting— Mayor Presentations:This meeting will serve to provide a project update to <br /> Mayor,and additionally propose the recommended design option for approval.Initial project <br /> costing analysis will be prepared to accompany the proposed design recommendation.This <br /> meeting will serve to update the Mayor on project progress and seek approval of the <br /> preferred design option. A maximum of a one (1) hour presentation, including Q&A, is <br /> anticipated.Meeting to occur approximately one(1)month prior to completion of Schematic <br /> Design. <br /> 9. Schematic Design Cost Estimate:Based on approval by Client, Mackenzie will issue the final <br /> Schematic Design package to the Cost Estimator for preparation of the construction cost <br /> estimate. A total project cost budget, including soft costs, sales tax and recommended <br /> contingencies will be compiled concurrently to the construction cost estimate to identify all <br /> known project costs. <br /> 10. Meeting—Core Team: Meet once with the Core Team to review the Schematic Design cost <br /> estimate.Upon Client approval,Mackenzie will prepare a City Council presentation update. <br /> 11. Meeting—City Council Presentation:This City Council meeting will serve to provide a project <br /> update to City Council and additionally propose the recommended design option for approval. <br /> Initial project costing analysis will be prepared to accompany the proposed design <br /> recommendation.This meeting will serve to update the City Council on project progress and <br /> seek approval of a preferred design option. A maximum of a two (2) hour presentation, <br /> including Q&A, is anticipated. <br /> 12. Notice to Proceed:Prior to moving onto Phase II,Client will provide written notice to proceed <br /> to Mackenzie.At this time,Mackenzie and Client will evaluate the project scope,design scope <br /> and associated fees to determine alignment prior to moving into Design Development. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES BCE ENGINEERS,INC. <br /> 1. The scope of work consists of renovating(6) floors of the Municipal Building to accommodate <br /> approximately 30,000 square feet of Tenant Improvements. In addition, BCE will review the <br /> existing building Mechanical system and Electrical systems for upgrades or modifications to <br /> accommodate the Tls.
