It is anticipated thatthe <br /> owner will furnish and install network switches, servers,rack-mounted UPS systems and similar <br /> active electronics. <br /> 2. Electronic Security System design includes locating Intrusion Detection,Access Control,and CCTV <br /> (Closed Circuit Television) devices such as door contacts, card readers, cameras, and similar <br /> equipment on the plans. Detailing and selecting equipment for typical systems is also included. <br /> In-depth coordination with the owner, architect and door hardware consultant will be provided <br /> and includes(3)separate meetings to help program and implement the systems. <br /> 3. Audio Visual design includes locating A-V devices such as monitors, speakers, amplifiers,system <br /> inputs,and similar equipment on the plans. Detailing and selecting equipmentfortypicalsystems <br /> (ie.video teleconferencing equipmentfor conference rooms,information displays in lobbies,and <br /> televisions in break rooms)is also included. In-depth coordination with the owner,architect and <br /> interior designer will be provided and includes (3) separate meetings to help program and <br /> implement Audio Visual requirements within the building. <br /> ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> Acoustic Assessment <br /> 1. Mackenzie will contract with The Greenbush Group for acoustical consulting services.These <br /> services would include a site visit to study and measure existing noise levels external to the <br /> building; completion of an exterior to interior STC analysis including recommendations for <br /> noise reduction; an HVAC noise and vibration analysis, including mitigation <br /> recommendations; and an analysis of wall, floor, and ceiling assemblies for sensitive sound <br /> transmission areas,including recommendations for mitigation. <br /> 2. Upon Client's approval of direction, Mackenzie will incorporate the acoustical strategies into <br /> the construction documents. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES—THE GREENBUSH GROUP INC. <br /> Tenant improvement(TI) of approximately 29,300 square feet over seven floors. Renovation scope may <br /> also include generator set upgrades,HVACreplacement, and new nursing room.Based on the information <br /> provided,The Greenbush Group scope of services will include the followingtasks: <br /> Pre-Design <br /> Task 1: Attenduptothreeteleconferencescoordinatingacousticalaspectsoftheproject. <br /> Task 2: Visit the site to measure the following acoustical elements of the existing building: <br /> • Ambient noise levels outside the building(up to two locations for72 hours) <br /> • Outdoor-indoorsound transferthrough existing building envelope(up to three rooms) <br /> • Interior sound transfer between rooms with history of complaint (up to three room <br /> pairs) <br /> Page 10 of 15 <br />
