RFP #2020-073 • CITY OF EVERETT PARKS, RECREATION & OPEN SPACE PLAN <br />Lisa Johnson (Planning Support & Engagement Support, BERK) specializes in planning <br />and data analysis and has experience in outreach and facilitation with diverse groups of <br />stakeholders. She has a background in real estate, economic development, and transit. Her <br />experience includes work for both private and public sector agencies focused on building <br />stronger communities. <br />Lisa worked with the City of SeaTac on their PROS Plan Update. She served as the Lead <br />Planner for the City of Lynnwood Housing Action Plan and the Lummi Tribe Community <br />Plan. She was also an analyst for the Yakima Housing Action Plan and the Department of <br />Commerce Farmworker Housing Study and provided planning support on the Technical <br />Guidance for Local Governments related to ESHB 1923 for the Department of Commerce. <br />Lisa earned her Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington and a Bachelor <br />of Arts in Economics from Wake Forest University. <br />Years with BERK: 2 years <br />Ben Silver, GISP (GIS Analyst, BERK) has a background in cartography, environmental <br />planning, and sustainability management. He enjoys using mapping and geospatial analysis <br />to help empower communities, and to lend understanding to complex data and systems that <br />would otherwise be inaccessible to the average community member. Ben is currently providing <br />GiS analysis for the City of SeaTac PROS Plan Update. He also worked on the Southwest <br />UGA Planning Boundary Study, led development of a climate change resiliency plan for <br />Chelan County, and developed online mapping tools to support community engagement for <br />communities across the state. <br />Ben holds a dual Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Urban Planning, cum <br />Iaude, from the University of Washington. He is a certified Geographic Information Systems <br />Professional. <br />■ Years with BERK: 3 years <br />Jason Walker EMPA, PLA, PWS, CESCL (Landscape Architect & Recreation Planning/ <br />Design Lead, Perteet) has more than 28 years of experience in planning, designing, and <br />implementing local parks and trails in the Puget Sound region. Jason's talent is incorporating <br />existing natural features for new parks and trails to integrate design with community <br />character and the natural environment of the Puget Sound Lowlands. Jason is experienced <br />in facilitating stakeholder involvement and leads planning level assessments as well cis <br />the design and construction of parks, trails, and recreational areas Jason's involvement <br />provides a unified approach from initial visioning and grant eligibility through permitting, <br />implementation, and operations.
