RFP #2020-073 • CITY OF EVERETT PARKS, RECREATION & OPEN SPACE PLAN Survey and poll opportunities. As requested in the RFP, we can provide a statistically valid survey through our partner EMC Research. The survey will address issues across ages, abilities and disabilities alike, and all members of the Everett community irrespective of socio-economic or other factors. The content will be curated to feel welcoming, easily translated, and reflective of listening to those who have not previously felt heard. Surveys, though primarily available online or as event -based polls, will see more participation when promoted across platforms as well as in print. Paper versions should always be made available for accessibility. With our proposed budget, we can conduct one statistically valid survey that would be presented at the beginning of the process as a Resident Survey focused on community needs, or as a Voter Survey to explore funding tradeoffs. Alternatively, we could deploy equivalent project resources to conduct up to two Focus Groups. Either (select 1 )... Resident Survey • Intended for broader survey on community needs. • Mailed Survey via full form or postcard. • Sample from all residential mailing addresses • Sample is projectable to nearly all adult residents of Everett, Including those with lower incomes and underrepresented minorities Voter Survey • Suited for research related to funding options. • Mixed mode telephone survey {Including landlmes and cell phones} supplemented with text messages to cell phones. Or...
