Product: Subject to compliance with requirements: <br /> a. "InsulFoam FL(Flute Fill)" by Insulfoam <br /> b. "StarR Flute Filler" by StarRFoam <br /> 2.05 COVERBOARD <br /> A. ASTM C1289, high density polyisocyanurate roof board, water-resistant gypsum substrate, <br /> (.50) %-inch thick, min. 100 psi. <br /> 1. Product: Subject to compliance with requirements: <br /> a. "H-Shield HD" by Hunter, or approved equal. <br /> b. "Sarnatherm-H" by Sika Sarnafil or approved equal. <br /> b. Use as vertical substrate board where depicted in the project drawings, or as <br /> required by the manufacturer. <br /> 2.06 MISCELLANEOUS FASTENERS AND ANCHORS <br /> A. All fasteners, anchors, nails, straps, bars, etc. shall be post-galvanized steel, <br /> aluminum or stainless steel. Mixing metal types and methods of contact shall be <br /> assembled in such a manner as to avoid galvanic corrosion. Fasteners for <br /> attachment of metal to masonry shall be expansion type fasteners with stainless steel <br /> pins. All concrete fasteners and anchors shall have a minimum embedment of 1 <br /> inch (32 mm) and shall be approved for such use by the fastener manufacturer. All <br /> miscellaneous wood fasteners and anchors used for flashings shall have a minimum <br /> embedment of 1 inch (25 mm) and shall be approved for such use by the fastener <br /> manufacturer. <br /> PART 3—EXECUTION <br /> All roofing to be installed per the Contract Documents, the manufacturer's installation instructions, and <br /> NRCA Manual (Fifth Edition). When in conflict, use most stringent requirement. <br /> 3.01 DEMOLITION <br /> A. Remove the existing sheet metal roof flashing, siding and related sheet metal flashing <br /> transitions and legally dispose, <br /> B. KP-Fuel Island: Temporarily disconnect and store gutter downspouts as required to perform <br /> work. Cut out and remove existing sheet metal gutter, drops, and discard. <br /> C. Broom clean all substrates of dust, debris, and other substances detrimental to new roofing <br /> following preparation work on all roof surfaces. <br /> D. Do not throw any debris or material from above grade areas to grade.
