Counterflashing, Coping, Skirt Flashings, and Various Roof and Siding Related Transition <br /> Flashings: Prefinished galvanized sheet steel, 24 gauge unless otherwise noted. Use <br /> minimum 22 gage galvanized steel, for clips and cleats, unless otherwise noted. Finish to be <br /> Kynar 500 (PVF2), color as directed by Owner, as selected from standard color chart. <br /> B. Downspouts (KP-C South Canopy, KP-Fuel Island and KP-Vault): Prefinished galvanized <br /> sheet steel, 22 gauge unless otherwise noted. Finish to be Kynar 500 (PVF2), color as <br /> directed by Owner, as selected from standard color chart. <br /> C. Sheet Metal Gutter Replacement (KP-Fuel Island): Pre-primed galvanized sheet steel, 22 <br /> gauge, unless otherwise noted. <br /> D. Sheet Metal Gutter Replacement (KP-Vault): Pre-finished galvanized sheet steel, 24 gauge, <br /> Finish to be Kynar 500 (PVF2), color as directed by Owner, as selected from standard color <br /> chart. <br /> 1. Profile to match SMACNA 'Style D', unless otherwise approved, with dimensions <br /> indicated, complete with end caps, drops, and other accessories as required. Provide 18 <br /> gauge galvanized straps at 24" o.c. <br /> E. Single Ply Clad Metal Flashings (where depicted in the drawings): PVC or KEE single ply <br /> coated clad metal, 24 gauge unless otherwise noted. Color to be grey. All joints, seams, and <br /> pinholes should be fully sealed with heat welded strips of approved 45 mil single ply <br /> membrane in water-tight fashion, also to be grey. <br /> 1. Approved manufacturers: Sarnafil and FiberTite <br /> F. Soldered Transition Flashings (where depicted in the drawings): AISI 302/304 26 gauge <br /> stainless steel, with all joints and seams fully soldered in water-tight fashion. Provide 4 inch <br /> flanges minimum. <br /> G. Reinforced Fluid Applied Flashing: Soprema Alsan Flashing and approved Alsan Polyfleece <br /> reinforcing. <br /> H. Fasteners: Nails shall be hot-dip galvanized for galvanized steel. Bolts, nuts, power driven <br /> fasteners, screws, washers, etc., shall be hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel. Screws shall <br /> be a high-dome, neoprene gasketed, hex head type, or incorporate a washer with a laminated <br /> neoprene gasket. Exposed screws to have prefinished heads of color matching the coping <br /> metal. All fasteners penetrating preservative treated wood shall be stainless steel or rated for <br /> direct contact with type of preservative treatment utilized. <br /> I. Masonry Fasteners: Provide expandable fasteners for use in masonry substrates; 3/16" Rawl <br /> Drive Pins, Rawl Zamac Hammer-Screw, or Rawl Nailin fasteners. <br /> J. Urethane Sealant: High-grade urethane-based product such as Sikaflex 1a, or equivalent. <br /> Use Namaco Sof Rod, or approved backer rod, where required for a proper sealant joint. <br /> K. Uncured Butyl Sealant: As approved. <br /> L. Substrate cleaning solutions prior to application of sealants or reinforced fluid applied flashing: <br /> Mineral spirits, or as recommended by the product manufacturer. —. <br /> Construction Documents <br /> 07620-2 <br />
