RFP #2020-073 • CITY OF EVERETT PARKS, RECREATION & OPEN SPACE PLAN
3. Communication
A. Describe how your protect manager will keep
City of Everett informed throughout the process.
Include how often status reports are provided.
BERK's preferred process for project management is to coordinate weekly or bi-weekly
check-ins with the client Project Manager. These may be by phone or video and will ensure
that both the consultant and City Project Team are coordinated and aware of any upcoming
deliverables or deadlines.
We are also happy to include progress reports with our monthly invoices to provide
additional detail on the work completed to date.
B. Describe your communication methods in
conducting outreach meetings. What would
your outreach campaign entail?
Community engagement will be a key component of this effort. BERK has adapted our
approach to online and remote engagement activities to respond to the public health crisis
we currently face. We can flexibly adjust to the phased opening Washington State is
currently working through.
We believe that deploying a diversity of tools is not only important in advertising and
inviting participants in, but in keeping the conversation going. Below is a diagram of
engagement activities and the ability to maintain social distance for those activities. We have
an extensive toolkit we can leverage for this work.
00111 PROPOSAL • SUBMITTED OCTOBER 27, 2020 32
