Task 110 - Quality Control The Consultant will complete and update the Quality Management Plan, and implement quality assurance procedures so that project deliverables are subjected to in-house reviews prior to submittal to the City. These reviews will be conducted under the direction of the Consultant's Project Quality Assurance Manager, Manager of Projects, and Project Manager, and will focus on checking the major design elements with respect to adequacy of response to the specific design challenges, conformance to accepted design practices, compliance with the City's standards and that the work is of professional quality meeting the customary standard of care for the type of work in this locale. Under individual design tasks,the Consultant will include with each submittal a response to the City's comments generated from the previous submittal,with an indication either directly on the review set or in Word format of the actions taken on each comment. City shall provide one consolidated Word file of all City comments. The Consultant will verify all City comments on previous submittals have been addressed (or provide written response as to why the changes have not been made).The Consultant will return with each submittal any agency comments from the previous submittal. Deliverables: The following Deliverables are included in this Task. • Quality Management Plan, Draft and Final. Phase 1— Preliminary Engineering (Confirmation of Concept and Proiect Definition) Task 200—Alternatives Development and Analysis, Modeling Review, and CSO Storage Concept Recommendation The purposes of this task are to receive and review data, previous studies and model outputs completed by BHC for the City; to generate alternatives for CSO storage; to evaluate previously modeled CSO volumes and system operations; and to select a preferred CSO storage alternative to proceed to Phase 2. 5IPage
