Our community can't be proud of anything we ever
accomplish if there are people (many of them sick, war veterans, hungry) living on the streets, without a home of their
own to go to. Our community will never be good until we stop displacing, and brushing under the rug, the massive group
of our community that is homeless and needs resources properly and rightfully allocated to them. Yet instead, this bill
is to lock them up in jail. History shows us this is how people are oppressed specifically poor people and POC. Stop
brushing the homeless under the rug. Encourage a thriving society PLEASE. ENRICH US please. Don't bash us, don't
lock us up, give us a voice, see what happens when the government shells out to the people, truly it's only purpose as
we shell out our whole lives to working every day in this society, to live on the street.
Sincerely,
Kathleen
1
