Modify existing item 9 by adding 400 Tons of Crushed Surfacing Base Course at the unit price of $90.00/Ton resulting in a $36,000.00 increase to the Contract, Bid Item 26 Post Construction Soil Quality and Depth. Modify existing item 26 by adding 1,250 SY of Post Construction Soil Quality and Depth at the unit price of $40.00/SY resulting in a $50,000.00 increase to the Contract. Bid Item 27 — HMA CL 1/2" PG 64-22 for Permanent Trench Patch. Modify exist ngitem 27 byadding g 550 Tons HMA CL 1/2" PG 64-22 for Permanent Trench Patch at the unit price of $220.00/Ton resulting in a $121,000.00 increase to the Contract. Added Bid Items New Item 101 — CSTC for Pipe Bedding. Add 950 Tons of new item # 101 entitled, "CSTC for Pipe Bedding" at the agreed unit price $60.00/Ton, resulting in a $57,000.00 increase to the Contract. Exhibit B Justificatjon Bid Items 9, 26 & 38 — Crushed Surfacing Base Course, Post Construction Soil Qualityand Depth and HMA CL '/2" PG 64-22 for Permanent Trench Patch. These items represent work required for restoration after pipe installation. Each item over -ran the plan quantity. New Item 101 — CSTC for Pipe Bedding. The contractor requested utilization CSTC in lieu of CSBC for pipe bedding This new item was created to formalize the revision including a reduction in the unit price from $90.00/Ton to $60.00/ton.
