o MR#5: On-site Stormwater Management
■ Page 9—Remove remnant discussion about porous pavement and check all
text throughout the Drainage Report for accuracy.
The new drainage report is proposing permeable asphalt for the replaced
hard surface area in Basin A. See new drainage report and plan set.
• Add discussion of Downspout Full Infiltration, including the assessment of
site feasibility assessment and design and sizing calculations per the criteria in
Volume III, Section 3.1.1 of the SWMMWW.
Downspout full infiltration is no longer being proposed.
• Bioretention design and modeling:
• Section 4-4.1 (3) SETBACKS of the DCSS requires a 10-ft etback
from the open water maximum surface elevation or edge of a
stormwater facility to property lines and on-site structures. Please
revise the designs to meet this requirement.
Bioretention is no longer being proposed.
• Please check and update WWHM inputs needed. For example, BR#1
input as 5'x208', but the bottom length appears smaller than this on
the figure Drainage Basin Plan, and the area in the model (0.24 acres)
does not match the area shown on the figure (.03 acres).
Bioretention is no longer being proposed.
• The bypass areas shown on the Drainage Basin Map do not appear to
have been entered into the model, and they appear smaller than the
actual area that would bypass based on the grading plan(Sheet 3).
Please update the bypass areas to delineate the actual amount of
bypass area consistent with the grading plan and enter those bypass
areas into the model.
Bioretention is no longer being proposed.
• The right-of-way sidewalk areas do not appear to be entered into the
model. Assuming the sidewalks grade toward the street and away from
the bioretention facilities, they should be included as part of the model
bypass area.
Bioretention is no longer being proposed.
PO Box 1478 • Everett, WA 98206 • Phone: (425) 303-9363
Fax: (425)303-9362 • Email:info@insightengineering.net
37
