1. The flushing mechanisms are shown on the near side of the toilet stalls on the typical mounting location drawings of Sheet A7.01. ANSI Section 604.6 2. The drains and hot water supply on the lav's should be shown protected or insulated to prevent contact. ANSI Section 606.6 3. The shower seat should be shown to be within 3" of the compartment entry (vs. the shower entry) in detail 12/A6.01. ANSI Section 610.3 4. Please clarify the intent of the 50" height of the vision lights in cross corridor doors C6 shown on Sheet A8.42 vs. the 43" (or less) heights shown on the other doors on the sheet per ANSI Section 404.2.10 In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire). All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
