EVERETT
ILL.
WASHINGTON
All of our services are provided via one-on-one consultation between clients and staff or volunteer attorney and/or
through representation in court. Clients are assessed when referrals are received and most are seen within one
week of the referral, which may be sooner if the client has an emergency situation or a court deadline. This
consultation may be in clinic or an individual appointment with an attorney. Our family law clinic meets weekly;
other clinics are scheduled on a regular basis. We also provide information with our workshops or public speaking
engagements.
(5) Who is Providing the Service:
Our services are provided by staff attorneys,and experienced and trained volunteer attorneys and limited licensed
legal technicians and paralegals. Additionally, we have legal-support specialists, both on staff and in volunteer
capacities,who provide direct and indirect support to the attorneys. Currently,SCLS employs four(4)full time staff
and three (3) part time staff, in addition to our volunteers. All staff and volunteer attorneys are Washington State
Bar members in good standing and admitted to practice in the state of Washington.
9
