• 4 Any person who fails to pass the examination as prescribed by the Board of Plumber Examiners, may apply for re-examination after the expiration of thirty (30) days. Section 18: License Fees : The annual fee for a "Lawn Sprinkling Contractor' license shall be Twelve ($12.00) Dollars per year. The annual fee for a "Lawn Sprinkling Mechanic' license shall be Three ($3.00) dollars per year. All licenses controlled or issued under authority of this ordinance shall expire December 31st of each year, and shall not be transferable . Section 19: Permits required No lawn sprinkling or lawn drainage work shall be commenced on any peemises until a permit to do such work shall have been first obtained from the Administrative Authority. No person shall allow any other person to do or cause to be done any lawn sprinkling or lawn drainage work under any permit secured by such person except persons in his employ. Section 20: Cost of Permit. Every applicant for a permit to install, add to, alter, relocate, or replace a lawn sprinkling system, or a lawn drainage system, or part thereof, shall state the character of work proposed to be done, together with such information pertinent thereto as may be required. Such applicant shall pay for each permit issued at the time of issuance, a fee in accordance with the following schedule : Schedule of Fees. Foy issuing each permit $ 2.00 For each lawn sprinkling system 2.00 For Vacuum breakers or backflow protective devices, including necessary water piping, One (1) to Five (5) 2.00 Over Five (5) , each .50 Section 21 : Materials : Water pipe and fittings for potable water shall be of brass, copper, cast iron, galvanized malleable iron, galvanized wrought iron, galvanized steel, or lead. Water pipe for lawn sprinkling systems beyond the Vacuum breakers or backflow preventive devices may be of plastic . Lawn Sprinkling Systems shall be equipped with an approved vacuum breaker installed on the discharge side of each control valve . -4-
