EXHIBIT A-1 Project Steps The initial project task is the Project Kick-off Meeting that will serve to identify the project teams and establish normal means of communication between organizations. In addition, this time will be used to define what required functionality from existing map applications will be included in the standard implementation work scope, as well as will serve as a forum to address other project initiation steps and define the baseline project schedule. The meeting will be held at the City of Everett's headquarters and followed by a series of teleconference calls used to coordinate further specification details, and resolve any outstanding design issues. These efforts will culminate in an agreed Design Specification. 1. Project Initiation • Form teams and begin planning • Detail business processes • Define user and system requirements • Develop scope and project plan • Agree Design specification • Agree on Design specification Acceptance of the Design Specification will trigger a number of implementation steps including any minor customization work consistent with the configuration of GO! Sync Mobile GIS. Deliverables • One 8 hour onsite meeting at City of Everett Service Center • Three 2 hour teleconference calls with City Staff • Documented summary of requirements and project plan 2. Customizations/Configurations • Initiate implementation design • Customize and configure • Perform unit testing Upon conclusion of this phase of the project plan, work will commence on the Standard Installation,which includes installation of the basic system onLsite and a demonstration of baseline operations to City staff. Site Acceptance Testing will be performed to test that the completed application meets specifications and to verify that the application meets acceptable performance levels. Both users and administrators will be trained during this period. Deliverables • 6 days of professional services to customize and configure application • Onsite demonstration to City Staff • The source code for all customizations provided to meet functionality requirements of the City.
