12. Contract: Agreement signed by the Owner and Contractor (DOCUMENT 006013). <br /> Depending on context, "Contract" may also refer to the Contract Documents as a <br /> whole. Contract Documents are defined in Section 1.2 below. <br /> 13. Contract Claim: Any request by the Contractor for additional time or money <br /> (adjustment of Contract Sum or Contract Time) irrespective of the cause or reason for <br /> the request. Contract Claims include, but are not limited to, requests by the <br /> Contractor for additional time or money due to Extra Work, inefficiencies, Delays, <br /> interferences, and problems with the design. Contract Claim includes, but is not <br /> limited to, claims or requests by Subcontractors for extensions of Contract Time, <br /> adjustment of Contract Sum, additional compensation that the Contractor attempts <br /> to pass through or assert against the Owner, or claims against the Owner arising out <br /> of a third party's claim against the Contractor. <br /> 14. Contract Sum: The price in dollars stated in the Contract to be paid by the Owner to <br /> the Contractor for the Work described in the Contract Documents, as modified by any <br /> Change Orders. <br /> 15. Contract Time: The duration of the Project as stated in the Contract and as modified <br /> by any Change Orders. <br /> 16. Contractor: The individual or entity with whom Owner has entered into the <br /> Agreement. <br /> 17. COVID-19: Disease related to the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), which is the <br /> subject of Governor Inslee's proclamation dated February 29, 2020, and subsequent <br /> proclamations. <br /> 18. COVID-19 Requirements: All governmental laws, regulations, requirements, and <br /> orders relating to COVID-19, including without limitation OSHA, L&I or other safety <br /> rules relating to COVID-19 and COVID-19 gubernatorial proclamations and orders. <br /> 19. Day: Calendar day, unless explicitly stated otherwise. <br /> 20. Delay: Any increase of the duration of the critical path of the Project. <br /> 21. Dispute: Any controversy or disagreement. <br /> 22. Drawings: That part of the Contract Documents that graphically shows the scope, <br /> extent, and character of the Work to be performed by Contractor. Shop Drawings and <br /> other Contractor Submittals are not Drawings as so defined. <br /> 23. Effective Date of Agreement: See 18.10 Effective Date. <br /> 24. Engineer: An individual or entity retained by the Owner to be the Owners <br /> representative with regard to matters of design intent. The terms "Owner's <br /> Representative", "Engineer" and "Architect" are interchangeable. <br /> 25.
