CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> The Contractor shall prepare and submit a Temporary Erosion and Sediment <br /> Control (TESC) Plan consisting of a narrative section and plan sheets that <br /> meets Ecology's Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) requirement <br /> in the CSWGP. <br /> The Contractor may adopt the TESC measures indicated in the Drawings in <br /> preparing the TESC Plan. The Contractor shall complete and modify the TESC <br /> Plan to meet the Contractor's schedule and method of construction. All TESC <br /> Plans shall meet the requirements of the current edition of the Department of <br /> Ecology's Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington and be <br /> adapted as needed throughout construction based on site inspections and <br /> discharge samples to maintain compliance with the CSWGP. The Contractor <br /> shall develop a schedule for implementation of the TESC work and incorporate <br /> it into the Contractor's progress schedule. <br /> TESC plan shall be continually updated as site conditions change and erosion <br /> control measures are adjusted. The Contractor shall provide an updated TESC <br /> plan for review by the Engineer. <br /> TESC Plans shall be submitted as Type 2 Working Drawings. <br /> Failure to accept all or part of any such Plan will not make the Contracting <br /> Agency liable to the Contractor for any Work delays. <br /> 8-01.3(1)B Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Lead <br /> Revise the second and third paragraphs in 8-01.3(1)B to read as follows: <br /> The ESC Lead shall implement the TESC Plan. Implementation shall include, <br /> but is not limited to: <br /> 1. Installing and maintaining all temporary erosion and sediment control <br /> Best Management Practices (BMPs) included in the TESC Plan to <br /> assure continued performance of their intended function. Damaged or <br /> inadequate TESC BMP's shall be corrected immediately. <br /> 2. Updating the TESC Plan to reflect current field conditions. <br /> 3. Discharge sampling and submitting Discharge Monitoring Reports <br /> (DMRs) to Ecology in accordance with the CSWGP. <br /> 4. Develop and maintain the Site Log Book as defined in the CSWGP. <br /> As a part of the Site Log Book, the Contractor shall develop and <br /> maintain a BMP tracking table to show that identified TESC <br /> compliance issues are fully resolved within 10 calendar days. The <br /> table shall include the date an issue was identified, a description of <br /> how it was resolved, and the date the issue was fully resolved. <br /> The ESC Lead shall also inspect all areas disturbed by construction activities, <br /> all on-site erosion and sediment control BMP's, and all stormwater discharge <br /> points at least once every calendar week and within 24-hours of runoff events <br /> in which stormwater discharges from the site. Inspections of temporarily <br /> stabilized, inactive sites may be reduced to once every calendar month. The <br /> Erosion and Sediment Control Inspection Form (WSDOT Form 220-030) shall <br /> be completed for each inspection and a copy shall be submitted to the Engineer <br /> no later than the end of the next working day following the inspection. <br /> 8-01.3(2) Seeding, Fertilizing, and Mulching <br /> 8-01.3(2)A Preparation For Application <br /> 8-01.3(2)A1 Seeding <br /> Revise the first paragraph in 8-01.3(2)A1 to read as follows: I <br /> Water Main Replacement"V" Division 8—MISC CONSTRUCTION April,2021 <br /> WO No.—UP3730 SP—186 ' <br />
