1 1-08.0.RTF <br /> 2 1-08 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Add the following new section: <br /> 5 <br /> 6 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters <br /> 7 (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) <br /> 8 <br /> 9 GLF 1-08.0(1).DOCX <br /> 10 Add the following new section: <br /> 11 <br /> 12 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference <br /> 13 (COE based on October 10, 2008 APWA GSP) <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held <br /> 16 between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be <br /> 17 invited. The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: <br /> 18 1. To review the initial progress schedule; <br /> 19 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or <br /> 20 affected by the work; <br /> 21 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, <br /> 22 submittals, etc.; <br /> 23 4. To review safety standards and traffic control; and <br /> 24 5. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the following: <br /> 27 1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; ' <br /> 28 2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and <br /> 29 3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 F1-08.0(2).DOCX <br /> 32 Add the following new section: <br /> 33 <br /> 34 1-08.0(2) Hours of Work <br /> 35 (December 8, 2014 APWA GSP) <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Except in the case of emergency or unless otherwise approved by the Engineer, the <br /> 38 normal working hours for the Contract shall be any consecutive 8-hour period <br /> 39 between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m, or as required by section F1-07.23(1). Monday <br /> 40 through Friday, exclusive of a lunch break. If the Contractor desires different than the <br /> 41 normal working hours stated above, the request must be submitted in writing prior to <br /> 42 the preconstruction conference, subject to the provisions below. The working hours <br /> 43 for the Contract shall be established at or prior to the preconstruction conference. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 All working hours and days are also subject to local permit and ordinance conditions <br /> 46 (such as noise ordinances). I <br /> 47 <br /> 48 If the Contractor wishes to deviate from the established working hours, the Contractor <br /> 49 shall submit a written request to the Engineer for consideration.
