I <br /> I1 (******) <br /> 2 Pavement markings shall be installed in accordance with Section 8-22.3 of the Standard <br /> 3 Specifications with the following modifications: <br /> I 4 <br /> 5 1. All Stop Line shall be 24" wide Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is <br /> 6 not allowed. <br /> I7 2. All Crosswalk Line shall be solid white lines, 24"wide, installed in accordance with <br /> 8 City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 721 and shall be Type D extruded plastic <br /> 9 flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. <br /> I <br /> 10 3. All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of <br /> Ill travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br /> 12 4. All white parking lines shall be plastic line. <br /> I13 5. All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. <br /> 14 6. Access parking space symbols, arrows, letters, bicycle symbols, railroad crossing <br /> 15 symbols, sharrow symbols, and speed hump symbols shall be Type D extruded <br /> 16 plastic flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. <br /> I 17 <br /> 18 8-22.3(1) Preliminary Spotting <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Section 8-22.3(1) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 21 <br /> 22 (**- ) <br /> 23 Contractor Surveying — Roadway Striping and Channelization <br /> I24 <br /> 25 No survey control data or layout will be furnished by the Contracting Agency. <br /> 26 The Contractor shall be solely responsible for detailed documentation (records) <br /> I 27 of all existing pavement markings and channelization in the field prior to grinding <br /> 28 operations. This work includes but is not limited to: field notes, sketches, offset <br /> 29 markings on curbs or staking if no curb exists. <br /> I 30 <br /> 31 The records and offset marking/staking shall be adequate to allow the pavement <br /> 32 markings to be reproduced to a level of accuracy shown below: <br /> I 33 <br /> 34 Lane widths ±0.1 feet (normal to alignment) <br /> 35 Longitudinal location of arrows and letters ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> I 36 Longitudinal location of stop lines ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> 37 Transverse location of arrows and letters ±0.1 feet (normal to alignment) <br /> 38 Longitudinal location of transitions and tapers±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> I 39 Pavement marking starts and stops ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The Contractor shall provide copies of any calculations, notes, and layout data <br /> 42 to the Engineer, or their assigned representative, prior to grinding.
