I I1 (******) 2 Pavement markings shall be installed in accordance with Section 8-22.3 of the Standard 3 Specifications with the following modifications: I 4 5 1. All Stop Line shall be 24" wide Type D extruded plastic flat line. Spray Type D is 6 not allowed. I7 2. All Crosswalk Line shall be solid white lines, 24"wide, installed in accordance with 8 City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 721 and shall be Type D extruded plastic 9 flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. I 10 3. All two-way left turn yellow lines and lane lines dividing two opposing directions of Ill travel shall be Type D plastic flat line. 12 4. All white parking lines shall be plastic line. I13 5. All wide line and dotted extension line shall be Type D plastic flat line. 14 6. Access parking space symbols, arrows, letters, bicycle symbols, railroad crossing 15 symbols, sharrow symbols, and speed hump symbols shall be Type D extruded 16 plastic flat line. Spray Type D is not allowed. I 17 18 8-22.3(1) Preliminary Spotting 19 20 Section 8-22.3(1) is supplemented with the following: 21 22 (**- ) 23 Contractor Surveying — Roadway Striping and Channelization I24 25 No survey control data or layout will be furnished by the Contracting Agency. 26 The Contractor shall be solely responsible for detailed documentation (records) I 27 of all existing pavement markings and channelization in the field prior to grinding 28 operations. This work includes but is not limited to: field notes, sketches, offset 29 markings on curbs or staking if no curb exists. I 30 31 The records and offset marking/staking shall be adequate to allow the pavement 32 markings to be reproduced to a level of accuracy shown below: I 33 34 Lane widths ±0.1 feet (normal to alignment) 35 Longitudinal location of arrows and letters ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) I 36 Longitudinal location of stop lines ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) 37 Transverse location of arrows and letters ±0.1 feet (normal to alignment) 38 Longitudinal location of transitions and tapers±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) I 39 Pavement marking starts and stops ±1.0 feet (parallel to alignment) 40 41 The Contractor shall provide copies of any calculations, notes, and layout data 42 to the Engineer, or their assigned representative, prior to grinding.
