Assumptions <br /> 1. Up to 3 model runs will be provided for the conveyance modeling and 4 model runs for <br /> the control strategies. <br /> 2. Draft and final text with exhibits describing the results of the model analysis will be <br /> developed under Tasks 300 and 400. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. None. <br /> Task 300 — Alternative Development <br /> Task Objective <br /> In conjunction with the modeling performed in Task 200 develop conveyance alternatives to <br /> parallel or replace the constricted sections of the 17th Street Interceptor. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Identify interceptor conveyance improvement options to increase the constricted 1500- <br /> foot section of the existing interceptor. Options will include: <br /> a) paralleling the existing alignment, <br /> b) identifying an alternative route in City rights of way, or <br /> c) replacing the existing constricted section. <br /> 2. Evaluate the proposed conveyance improvement alignments to determine the impacts to <br /> the neighborhood traffic. <br /> 3. Identify roadway restoration and street improvement requirements for each of the <br /> alternatives for consideration in alternative selection.This would include evaluating the <br /> need for ADA ramps and impacts to existing traffic signalization. <br /> 4. Develop cost estimates of the alignments. <br /> 5. Evaluate using the hydraulic model the effects of the increased capacity of the 17th <br /> Street Interceptor on the downstream collection system with particular attention to the <br /> downstream Siphon Headworks and Diversion Structure Zero. <br /> 6. Summarize the interceptor improvement alternatives in a technical memorandum(TM). <br /> 7. Present alternatives in a (2 hour)workshop with the City. <br /> 8. Develop preliminary 30%design drawings of the selected alternative. <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide CCTV inspection of existing sewers as requested to support the development of <br /> alternatives. <br /> 2.
