Assumptions 1. Up to 3 model runs will be provided for the conveyance modeling and 4 model runs for the control strategies. 2. Draft and final text with exhibits describing the results of the model analysis will be developed under Tasks 300 and 400. Deliverables 1. None. Task 300 — Alternative Development Task Objective In conjunction with the modeling performed in Task 200 develop conveyance alternatives to parallel or replace the constricted sections of the 17th Street Interceptor. Consultant Services 1. Identify interceptor conveyance improvement options to increase the constricted 1500- foot section of the existing interceptor. Options will include: a) paralleling the existing alignment, b) identifying an alternative route in City rights of way, or c) replacing the existing constricted section. 2. Evaluate the proposed conveyance improvement alignments to determine the impacts to the neighborhood traffic. 3. Identify roadway restoration and street improvement requirements for each of the alternatives for consideration in alternative selection.This would include evaluating the need for ADA ramps and impacts to existing traffic signalization. 4. Develop cost estimates of the alignments. 5. Evaluate using the hydraulic model the effects of the increased capacity of the 17th Street Interceptor on the downstream collection system with particular attention to the downstream Siphon Headworks and Diversion Structure Zero. 6. Summarize the interceptor improvement alternatives in a technical memorandum(TM). 7. Present alternatives in a (2 hour)workshop with the City. 8. Develop preliminary 30%design drawings of the selected alternative. Client Responsibilities 1. Provide CCTV inspection of existing sewers as requested to support the development of alternatives. 2.
