• <br /> • <br /> • <br /> 1 Revocation of a Journeyman Plumber ' s Certificate <br /> of Qualification pursuant to the provisions of <br /> 2 Sec. 2. 11 of this ordinance shall automatically <br /> cancel that person' s Journeyman Plumber ' s License <br /> 3 without refund in addition to other penalties <br /> provided for by this Code. " <br /> 4 <br /> SECTION 8: That there is hereby added to Part 2 of the <br /> 5 Uniform Plumbing Code herein adopted a Sec. 2.14 which shall <br /> read as follows : <br /> 6 <br /> "Sec. 2.14 -- Display of Sign <br /> 7 <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person not in legal <br /> 8 possession of a valid Master Plumber ' s License to <br /> engage in, carry on, or represent himself, itself, <br /> 9 or themselves as engaged in carrying on the business <br /> of plumbing or to use the words 'Master Plumber", <br /> 10 "Plumbing", or "Plumber" , in any advertising or to <br /> display or expose a sign having similar import for <br /> 11 the purpose of implying the advertiser to be so <br /> engaged. <br /> 12 <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, <br /> 13 firm, partnership or corporation engaged in the <br /> business of plumbing to operate a truck, fleet of <br /> 14 trucks or vehicle used for the purpose of conveying <br /> plumbing equipment, supplies or material to and from <br /> 15 plumbing job sites unless such truck, fleet of trucks <br /> or vehicle so used has plainly displayed thereon the <br /> 16 name of the person, firm, partnership or corporation <br /> operating such truck or vehicle. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 SECTION 9: That there is hereby added to Part 2 of the <br /> Uniform Plumbing Code herein adopted a Sec . 2.15 which shall <br /> 19 read as follows : <br /> 20) "Sec . 2. 15 -- Catch Basins - Required - Specifications <br /> 21 All garages, service stations or establishments, where <br /> vehicles are washed, shall have a sump connected to <br /> 22 a drainage system of iron pipe, leading to a trapped <br /> catch basin, and from such catch basin proper connections <br /> 23 shall be made to a public sewer. Openings from sumps <br /> to drains shall be protected by iron strainers se. in <br /> 24 iron frames so as to be removable. Drainage pipe shall <br /> be not less than four (4+) inches in diameter. Catch <br /> 25 basins must be constructed of masonry and shall have <br /> two compartments : the receiving compartment shall be <br /> 26 at least three (3) feet in any internal dimension, and <br /> shall have a cover of iron or wood bars set flush with <br /> 27 the floor of the building. This compartment shall be <br /> connected with compartment No. 2 by a four inch trap <br /> 28 set sixteen (16) inches below the floor of the building. <br /> The intake of this trap shall extend at least two (2) <br /> 29 feet below the top of Compartment No. 1. Compartment <br /> No. 2 shall be of the same depth as compartment No. 1 <br /> 30 and shall be at least two feet in any other internal <br /> dimension. Compartment No. 2 shall be connected to <br /> 31 the sewer system of the building with a four inch <br /> cast iron pipe . The outlet from compartment No. 2 <br /> 32 being set the same as in compartment No. 1. The drain <br /> pipe from compartment No. 2 shall be provided with <br />
