a. The Contractor shall provide equipment and personnel for and perform all <br /> budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting services to the City for the courses. <br /> b. The Contractor shall, at all times, ensure that proper cash handling procedures <br /> and internal controls are in place to safeguard City assets. In addition,the <br /> Contractor shall comply with all accounting and auditing procedures and <br /> controls as may from time to time be directed by the City's Finance <br /> Director <br /> c. Copies of all financial books and records shall be kept at the courses and shall <br /> remain the property of the City and shall be available for review by the City at <br /> reasonable times when requested by the City. <br /> d. All equipment, software,programs, manuals and the like related to the <br /> Contractor's operation regarding Point of Sale, accounting and electronic tee <br /> sheet systems will be the property of the City pursuant to any applicable <br /> licensing, use, or purchase agreements. <br /> e. All data collected using Point of Sale, electronic tee sheet systems, and through <br /> websites shall be the property of the City. <br /> f. The Contractor must maintain a Point of Sale system. The system must meet <br /> the City's approval. <br /> 4. Customer Relations <br /> a. The Contractor shall exhibit a thorough understanding of customers' wants, <br /> desires and value in an effort to provide quality service at the courses. <br /> b. The Contractor shall maintain customer service as a top priority. <br /> C. GOLF SHOP OPERATIONS <br /> 1. Contractor Staff Functions <br /> a. Contractor Staff Duties and Responsibilities <br /> All contractor staff will discharge their responsibilities consistent with the <br /> requirements and conditions of this contract and with City policies and <br /> procedures. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: <br /> 1) Pro Shop sales. <br /> 2) Power and hand cart rental and maintenance. <br /> 3) Golf club and equipment rentals. <br /> 4) Tee sheet management. <br /> 5) Teaching of lessons and programs. <br /> 6) Operation of practice areas and putting greens. <br /> 7) Planning, marketing,programs' implementation. <br /> 8) Starting. <br /> 4 <br />
