9) Marshalling. <br /> 10)Tournament, league and special event promotion, selling, scheduling, <br /> packaging and hosting. <br /> 11)Men's and ladies' club coordination and scheduling. <br /> 12)Cleanliness and maintenance of facilities(except grounds and <br /> landscaped areas). <br /> 13)Customer service. <br /> 14)Maintaining any website or customer based software <br /> 15)Revenue collection and reconciliation. <br /> 16)Facility opening and closing such as the locking and unlocking of <br /> gates and doors. <br /> 2. Personnel Supervision <br /> a. Employ a general manager who will serve as the overall person in charge of the <br /> Contractor's operations. The general manager will oversee each course's pro <br /> shop manager. The general manager's employment shall be subject to approval <br /> by the City which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. General and <br /> specific responsibilities are identified in Exhibit A. <br /> b. Employ a pro shop manager(also known as the head pro)at each golf course. <br /> The pro shop managers must be a Class"A" Professional Golf Association <br /> (PGA)member. The pro shop managers will be in charge of daily operations at <br /> their respective courses. The pro shop managers' employment shall be subject <br /> to approval by the City which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. <br /> General and specific responsibilities are identified in Exhibit A. <br /> 3. Merchandising (Pro Shop) <br /> a. Maintain a well-stocked and attractively displayed pro shop. The Contractor <br /> shall sell,rent, and supply golf goods, clothing, merchandise and golf <br /> equipment, which shall be of good quality, selection and adequately meet the <br /> reasonable expectations of the golfing public at each course. <br /> b. After written notice to the Contractor, the City shall have the right to prohibit <br /> the sale and rental of any item of merchandise on finding that the item(s) is of <br /> such inferior quality as to not be in the public interest to be offered for sale or <br /> that such item(s) is not necessary or desirable for proper service to the public. <br /> c. The Contractor shall provide to Parks monthly inventory reports, the objective <br /> of which is to keep shrinkage of merchandise to less than one (1)percent. If the <br /> City deems the merchandise shrinkage rate to be unacceptable,the City and <br /> Contractor shall discuss the situation. The City may require the Contractor to <br /> develop and implement an action plan to reduce merchandise shrinkage. <br /> 4. Player Development <br /> 5 <br />
