Upon submittal of the revised documents, your application <br />will be given priority and plan reviews will recommence. <br />General: <br />The project appears intended to comply with the requirements of the IRC. However, the <br />proposed structural construction does not conform with the prescriptive design provisions of <br />this code. The design has been reviewed per the provisions of the IBC per IRC Section <br />R301.1.3. The comment does not require a response unless the applicant intends to clarify <br />compliance with the IRC. Other comments provided in this review are based on demonstrating <br />compliance with the IBC. <br />2. The construction drawings do not include material requirements for the structural systems. <br />Material properties, connection requirements, fabrication and coating requirements, and other <br />information required to perform the structural work should be specified in accordance with the <br />following design standards: <br />a. Concrete: IBC Sections 1901.5. <br />b. Wood: IBC Section 2306.1 and AWC NDS-15. <br />The material specifications are provided in the list below and indicated on the new drawings <br />submitted 8/6/20. <br />1.
