Some callouts indicate Douglas -Fir (DF) while <br />others state only "PT" or 42". The required materials should be clearly specified. See Section <br />R106.1.1. <br />7. The project includes preservative -treated (PT) lumber that will be cut. The drawings should <br />include a requirement to coat all cuts, notches, and holes in PT lumber with a treatment <br />complying with AWPA M4. See Section R317.1.1. <br />8. The project appears to include proprietary hardware. The manufacturer(s) for the hardware <br />should be specified. See Section R106.1.1. <br />This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and <br />amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made <br />during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit <br />requirements.
