Chaplain Gap Timber Sale <br /> • On embankments. <br /> • On slopes greater than 40%. <br /> • Within the operational area for cable landings where debris may shift or roll. <br /> • On locations where brush will fall into the ditch or onto the road surface. <br /> • Against standing timber. <br /> 3-24 BURYING ORGANIC DEBRIS RESTRICTED:Organic debris shall not be buried unless otherwise stated <br /> in this plan. <br /> 3-25 SCA 1"1'ERING ORGANIC DEBRIS:Organic debris shall be scattered outside of the clearing limits in <br /> natural openings unless otherwise detailed in this road plan. <br /> SECTION 4-EXCAVATION <br /> 4-2 PIONEERING: Pioneering shall not extend past construction that will be completed during the current <br /> construction season.Pioneering shall not extend more than 500 feet beyond completed construction unless <br /> approved in writing by the Contract Administrator.
