Please see note added to detail 25/ A10.1 and to wall section B / A5.2 indicating fireblocking will be provided per IRC R302.11 at not more than 10 feet O.C. horizontal and vertical. 11. Specify which whole house ventilation system you are choosing to use for each separate townhome. Provide the code requirements for the whole house ventilation system, do not simply reference the code section. Whole house ventilation system specifics and notes have been added to sheet A0.1. Location of whole house fan is called out on Upper floor plan sheet A3.2. Second correction: Please specify the Whole house Ventilation System (Ml507.3.4, M1507.3.5, M1507.3.6 OR M1507.3.7) and the requirements for that system, Including the controls per section M1507.3.2 IRC. Please see sheet A0.1 where notes have been added indicating that Whole house Ventilation system per M1507.3.4 (Whole -house ventilation using exhaust fans) will be provided for all three dwelling units. The code requirements for that system M1507.3.4.1—1507.3.4.4 will be provided and have been listed. Control and operation requirements have been added and will be provided per section M1507.3.2. 13. Show the correct depth of the insulation on floor plans at all concrete walls separating heated spaces from unheated spaces, including unit A at the hallway to the rear door. Second correction: The wall sections show insulation on the exterior and the interior of the below grade walls. Please revise section drawings to show insulation on the interior. The stairs in units B & C will need to be adjusted for the additional wall thickness required. Please refer to Wall Type B on sheet A10.0. The insulation has been revised to be RI rigid insulation on the interior of the below -grade wall. This insulation requirement option is per WSEC Table R402.1.1 footnote C. Interior framing has been revised to accommodate the interior thickness of rigid insulation; including at the stairs in units B & C. Per our phone conversation, no thermal break is required at the existing concrete slab to existing concrete basement wall. A thermal break has been provided at new footing at party wail between units, see wall section B/ A5.2.
