RESOLUTION NO. <br />EVERETT <br />WASH I NGTON <br />A RESOLUTION declaring one 2002 Terex BL-Pegson X800X550 (M0048) Rock Crusher surplus <br />and authorizing trade-in, <br />WHEREAS, <br />1. The City has one 2002 Terex BL-Pegson X800X550 (M0048) rock crusher; and <br />2. The above -referenced equipment is no longer of value or use to the City and is surplus to the <br />City's needs and is not required for providing continued public utility service; and <br />3. Chapter 3.88 EMC establishes a procedure and methods for surplus or disposition of <br />City -owned personal property; and <br />4. Based on the guidelines set forth in EMC 3.88.020, a trade-in is the disposition method <br />that best meets the City's interests; and <br />5. The City's Procurement Manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of the surplus <br />property. The estimated value is $50,000. <br />6. The City's Procurement Manager has recommended to surplus the above -referenced equipment <br />by sale to Powerscreen of Washington. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: <br />1. The City has one 2002 Terex BL-Pegson X800X550 (M0048) rock crusher. <br />2. The disposition of this equipment for sale to Powerscreen of Washington for a $50,000 trade-in <br />allowance towards the replacement unit (H0074) is hereby authorized. <br />Councilmember introducing resolution <br />Passed and approved this day of , 2021. <br />Council President <br />
