Existing areas that are not being renovated/remodeled will not be <br /> upgraded to the new fire alarm system. The existing fire alarm system devices are to <br /> remain. The existing system will report to the new system. The existing system is not a <br /> voice communication system. <br /> 5) Wainscoting should be shown for the toilet rooms in elevations 17 & 18 on Sheet IQ-201. <br /> Section 1210.2.2 <br /> Response: Wainscoting is not required based on Exception #2. These toilet rooms do not <br /> have more than one water closet and are not accessible to the public. <br /> Construction <br /> 1) Listings for both the TGP Firelight Plus and Tyco sprinkler assemblies should be provided. <br /> The specific proposed product should be shown to be within the listing specifications for <br /> the proposed use and minimum fire-rating per code.Section 716.2 <br /> Response: The individual listings for each product are attached along with the Data Sheet <br /> on the use of these two products used together as an Alternate Means of Compliance in <br /> accordance with IBC 104.11. <br /> 2) A listing for WON doors should be provided.
