Section 303.1.1 <br /> Response:Conference rooms and other rooms with a higher occupant loading factor were <br /> calculated at the un-concentrated load factor of 15 sf/occupant and if under 50 <br /> occupants was labeled a Group B occupancy. Spaces with an occupant load greater than <br /> 50 were labeled as Assembly occupancy. All courtrooms, regardless of occupant load, <br /> were labeled as an Assembly occupancy due to the definition of this space in accordance <br /> with IBC 303.4(even though some of the smaller courtrooms may have an occupant load <br /> slightly lower than 50). <br /> 2) The nomenclature and location of maximum occupant load signs for the Group A <br /> occupancies should be shown on the plans. Section 1004.3 <br /> Response:Maximum occupancy sign elevations, details, and messages have been shown <br /> on revised Sheets IG-201 and IG-202. Sign location plans have also been updated to show <br /> the placement of each sign within a Group A classified occupancy. <br /> 3) Volume 2 of the plans submitted that contain the electrical plans only included sheets <br /> VT01&VT02. The means of egress Illumination and emergency power requirements of <br /> Section 1008 have not been reviewed for compliance as of yet. <br /> Response:Comment acknowledged. <br /> • <br />
