Enclosed please find corrected drawings for this project in <br />response to your Correction Notice dated March 15, 2019. The corrections are as follows: <br />Corrections & Responses: <br />Architectural <br />1. 2015 International Existing Building Code: <br />The proposed project shall comply with the requirements of the 2015 International <br />Building Code and the 2015 International Existing Building Code. The IEBC shall be <br />referenced in the Project Information on Sheet T1.1. See the Everett Municipal Code <br />Section 16005.030 Article A, IBV Sections 101.4.7, and 107.2.1, and IEBC 106.2.1. <br />Sheet T1.1: The 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) has been added to the <br />list of applicable codes. <br />2. IEBC method for performing work: <br />Work on existing buildings shall comply with the IEBC. The IEBC provides three alternative <br />methods for performing work: the Prescriptive Compliance Method (Section 301.1.1), the <br />Work Area Method (301.1.2), and the Performance Compliance Method (301.1.3). The <br />method selected for the project should be specified in the Project Information on Sheet <br />T1.1. A statement should be provided clarifying the types of work that are included in the <br />project (e.g., repairs, additions, change of occupancy, etc.) and referencing the appropriate <br />IEBC sections. The comments provided herein presume the project will comply with the <br />Work Area Method of Chapter 5. Based on a review of the construction drawings, the <br />proposed project appears to include the following work: Level 2 Alternations (Chapter 8) <br />Additional and alternative types of work required for the project shall be identified by the <br />designer -of -record. Additional comments may be pending. See IBC Section 101.4.7,and <br />IEBC Sections 301.1 and 504 <br />Sheet T1.1: IEBC compliance and work classification information has been added to the <br />Project Information. Per IEBC 301.1.2, the proposed work will comply with the Work Area <br />Compliance method; per IEBC 504, the work area as identified on the Location Map on <br />
