Permit Corrections: 14 E 10asino Road <br />May 15, 2019 <br />age o <br />load of 87 based on a load factor of 15 SF -per -occupant per IBC Table 1004.1.2. The <br />following comments shall be addressed <br />a. The space shall be provided with a minimum of two exits per IBC Section 1006.2.1. Exits <br />shall be located per IBC Section 1007.1.1 <br />b. The exit door capacity shall be based on the total occupant load exiting through this <br />space. The occupant load for this space shall include, but is not limited to, Rooms 104 <br />through 106, and at least one-half of the load of Room 108. See IBC Sections 1004.1.1.1 <br />and 1005.3.2. <br />c. The exit doors shall be provided with panic hardware per IBC Section 1010.1.10. <br />Sheet T1.2: Please see the revised Occupancy & Egress Diagram, showing an aggregate <br />(egress) occupant load for the continuous space designated as rooms 100-103 of 57 <br />persons. Two exits are provided, with a separation distance of 64'-9" (minimum required <br />separation is 56'-0" per IBC 1.7.1.1). All egress doors meet the sizing requirements of IBC <br />1005.3.2 and 1010.1.1. <br />Please also note that the exiting diagram for the multipurpose room(s) has been revised to <br />indicate exiting loads when the two spaces function as one, and the diagonal distance and <br />exit separations for this space have been added. <br />Sheet A2.2: Panic hardware is being indicated for doors 108-1 & 2, 105a and 108a. <br />7. Exit signs: <br />Exit signs shall be provided for Rooms 108 and the space designated as Rooms 100 <br />through 103 per IBC Section 1013. Additional intermediate exit signs with direction arrows <br />shall be provided where door signs are not readily visible. The lighting shall specify a <br />minimum 90-minute uninterrupted supply power per IBC Section 1013.6.3 <br />Sheet A2.1: Keynotes have been added to the floor plan indicating exit door and <br />intermediate directional exit signs and requirements. <br />8. Means of egress illumination: <br />Means of egress illumination shall be provided per IBC Section 1008. The lighting shall <br />specify a minimum 90-minute uninterrupted supply power per IBC Section 1008.3.4. <br />Sheet T1.2: Code requirements for Means of Egress Illumination have been added to the <br />Building Code Information. <br />9. Emergency lighting at exterior landings: <br />The exterior landings for doorways serving a space or area with an occupant load of 50 or <br />more shall be provided with emergency lighting. The lighting shall specify a minimum 90- <br />minute uninterrupted supply power per IBC Section 1008.3.4. See IBC Sections 1008.3.2 <br />Item 5 and 1010.1.6. <br />Sheet T 1.2: Code requirement for lighting at exterior doorways serving a space or area with <br />an occupant load of 50 or more has been added to the Building Code Information. <br />Fire Protection: <br />10. 1-hour roof -ceiling system: <br />The building construction is Type VA, requiring a 1-hour roof -ceiling system per IBC Table <br />601. It is presumed that the ceiling system will be modified to match the new room layout. <br />
