Multiple comments
have not been completely addressed and require additional action before a permit can be issued.
Additional comments have been added based on a review of the revised construction drawings.
These comments address building issues only. The comments are itemized for consistency with the
original review letter. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments
including Public Works, Planning, and Fire.
Code citations provided in the following comments reference the 2015 International Building Code
(IBC), the 2015 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2015 International Property
Maintenance Code (IPMC), the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International
Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015 International Energy Conservation (IECC), and the 2015
Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design
is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA, FHA,
and HUD regulations and standards, including the Fair Housing Accessibility Guidelines, may be
more restrictive. References to other design standards include the current edition.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation should be
submitted to the Building Division for review:
a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below.
b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings.
Submittal documents shall contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project
for compliance with the adopted codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your application
will be given priority and plan reviews will recommence.
age:1(7of 4
