Element 2: Establish Construction Access (2.1.2)
List and describe BMPs: Utilize approximately 700 LF of existing gravel surfacing.
This existing surfacing can be considered BMP C107 as it
will remove sediment from tires and will prevent transport
of it to storm drain facilities.
Installation Schedules: Install temporary channelization devices at other potential
ingress/egress points to limit movement of trucks to the
one route containing the stabilized construction road.
Inspection and Maintenance plan: Monitor trackout west of the access point. Because the site
has a long gravel road (as shown on C3 as the haul route),
street sweeping cannot be accomplished as it would be on
a paved surface. If present, remove significant sediment by
shovel if found outside of entrance to prevent sediment
from entering storm drain catch basins.
Responsible Staff: Contractor's CECSL - TBD
