Describe drainage flow paths (direction, location):
The stormwater runoff from the existing asphalt play area sheet flows south across the asphalt towards one of three existin
catch basins located at the south end of the asphalt. Any Stormwater runoff that is not picked up in the catchbasins continue
to sheetflow onto the adjacent lawn area to the south.
Are there Critical Areas? What are they and where are they located relative to your project?:
There are no known Critical Areas within or adjacent to the project area.
Task 2: Describe proposed project
Describe your proposed project:
The project proposes to install two new portable building to be placed on an existing asphalt play area with roof areas 3,91
SF. Additionally new perforated metal ramps, stairs and decking will be installed to provide access to the portable building
The perforated metal ramps are not included in the hard surface calculations.
How will your project change the existing condition?:
The project will result in new portable roof area to be installed over existing asphalt pavement.
Describe roofs, patios, driveways, or structures added:
The installation of the two portable buildings will result in 3,910 SF of new roof area.
How will stormwater be managed?:
Stormwater from the new roof area will be collected by downspouts at each corner of the portable and will be discharged
directly to the asphalt pavement. Stormwater falling on the asphalt pavement or being discharged to the asphalt pavement
via downspouts will continue to flow towards the existing catch basins at the south end at the asphalt area.
Describe how the project will affect existing drainage systems onsite or on adjacent properties
or both:
The project will not affect the existing drainage systems onsite or on adjacent properties,
City of Everett Public Works
Small Project Stormwater Site Plan Report -Dec 2019
