City of Everett,Washington I Reservoir 3 Structural Improvements PDB Project <br /> Progressive Design-Build Contract I Exhibit C. Phase 1 Scope of Services <br /> materials for each item. All escalation factors shall be identified. Fees shall be included <br /> consistent with the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) Contract. Contingency shall be included <br /> and derived directly from the probability-weighted Risk Register developed for the Project. The <br /> draft cost model template shall be submitted to the City for review prior to the design concept <br /> meeting, so that a first draft cost model can be developed for the design concept meeting. <br /> The Design-Builder shall incorporate and address City comments on the draft cost model <br /> template, and submit a revised cost model template to the City. The Design-Builder shall submit <br /> additional revisions as needed to reach agreement with the City on the format of the cost model. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> 1. Draft, revised draft and final cost model template in Adobe PDF and spreadsheet (or <br /> other native form)formats <br /> Subtask 5.2—Cost Model Updates <br /> The Design-Builder shall use the City-approved cost model template for developing cost model <br /> updates and its Phase 2 Proposal; however, with City approval the cost model template may be <br /> further refined as greater detail becomes available on the project. <br /> The Design-Builder shall develop and submit Project cost model updates at the following points <br /> in time: <br /> 1. Basis of Design Report (excluding seismic improvement costs at this stage, but <br /> identifying estimated available budget for seismic improvements), <br /> 2. as needed to support determination of available budget and design concepts for <br /> seismic improvements, <br /> 3. the 60 percent design submittal, and <br /> 4. the Phase 2 Proposal. <br /> Cost models shall be provided in hard copy, Adobe PDF and spreadsheet (or other native <br /> form) formats. <br /> Design-Builder and the City shall meet and confer about the submissions, with Design-Builder <br /> identifying the evolution of the costs. The Design-Builder shall revise the cost models as needed <br /> in response to the City's comments. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> 1. Cost models to support review of design concepts (base costs for improvements and <br /> repairs only, excluding seismic costs and showing estimated available budget to <br /> support seismic improvements) <br /> 2. Cost models to support seismic design decisions <br /> 3. Cost model with 60 percent design submittal <br /> 4. Revised cost models as needed to address City questions and comments <br /> Page 12 of 15 <br />
