City of Everett,Washington I Reservoir 3 Structural Improvements PDB Project <br /> Progressive Design-Build Contract I Exhibit C.Phase 1 Scope of Services <br /> Subtask 5.3—Phase 2 Schedule Development <br /> The Design-Builder shall develop and update estimated schedules for the Phase 2 work. <br /> Estimated Phase 2 schedules shall be developed and / or updated to support design concept <br /> review, and with each design submittal milestone (60 percent design, 90 percent design, 100 <br /> percent design). <br /> As part of its Phase 2 Proposal, the Design-Builder shall develop and submit a proposed Project <br /> Schedule (as defined in the PDB Contract) that, subject to negotiations, will set contractual <br /> dates for key milestones including Substantial Completion and Final Completion. <br /> All Project schedules, developed as part of Phase 1, shall be consistent with the following <br /> requirements. <br /> 1. All schedules shall be prepared using an industry standard scheduling software. <br /> 2. Schedules shall be submitted as electronic files (native and Adobe PDF format) and <br /> shall be updated monthly to show progress and changes. <br /> 3. Schedules shall include all activities needed to complete the design and <br /> construction. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> 1. Estimated Phase 2 schedule (including any variations based on design and <br /> construction approach as needed)to support design concept review <br /> 2. Estimated and updated Phase 2 schedule at 60 percent design, 90 percent design, <br /> and 100 percent design. <br /> 3. Proposed Phase 2 Project Schedule included with Phase 2 Proposal. <br /> Task 6— Phase 2 Proposal <br /> The Design-Builder shall conduct all work necessary to develop, revise, and negotiate its <br /> proposed Phase 2 Proposal in accordance with the requirements of the PDB Contract. The <br /> Design-Builder shall utilize an "open book" approach to develop the Phase 2 Proposal, providing <br /> the City with full access to all the details that make up the final Phase 2 Proposal. <br /> The Phase 2 Proposal shall include, and any other materials required by the PDB Contract: <br /> 1. Design submittal, including: <br /> a. Design documents (drawings and specifications) consistent with the design <br /> progression at the point at which the Design-Builder opts to make a Phase 2 <br /> Proposal (likely at or around the 60% design milestone, including drawings <br /> and specifications necessary to define the design, and incorporating City <br /> comments from the most recent design milestone completed). <br /> b. Owner's Project Criteria, as may have been modified consistent with the PDB <br /> Contract. <br /> Page 13 of 15 <br />
