CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> The unit price payment shall be calculated based on the ratio pipe length that is installed, accepted, <br /> and backfilled to the total pipe length on the project. The total quantity of dewatering is listed on <br /> ' the Proposal. The unit price for Dewatering shall be full compensation for dewatering plan <br /> submittals and coordination, furnishing all material, equipment, tools, and labor necessary to <br /> dewater the excavations on the project in accordance with Section 7-08.3(1) Trench Dewatering, <br /> ' the site-specific dewatering plan per Section 2-09.3(1), and in accordance with the ECY <br /> requirements, the POE-NT soil and groundwater management Plans, the POE-NT stormwater <br /> management plan, and Project HASP. Additional items included with this Work includes, but is <br /> not limited to: <br /> ' 1. Coordination, preparation, submittal, and implementation of the Dewatering Plan that entails <br /> how potentially contaminated water from dewatering operations will be handled and disposed <br /> of. Including costs associated with submitting and obtaining written approvals from the City for <br /> ' use of their sites and facilities. <br /> 2. Coordination with the Port to coordinate activities and crossings for the Port and the Port's <br /> Contractor. <br /> 3. TV inspection, cleaning, flushing, and decontamination of the City sewer facilities following <br /> pumping operations. Additional cleaning and inspections required will be at the Contractor's <br /> expense. <br /> Bid Item 26 - Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plan <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) <br /> The unit price for Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control (TESC) Plan shall be full compensation <br /> for coordinating preparing and submitting, and updating the project specific TESC Plan as detailed <br /> in Section 8-01.3(1)A. Partial payments of the total bid item costs will be made for the lump sum <br /> contract price based on milestone completion of the work as follows: <br /> 1. A total of 30% of the original contract bid price for coordination, submittal and acceptance of <br /> ' the TESC Working Drawing. <br /> 2. The remaining 70% payment will be calculated based on the ratio of pipe installed and <br /> backfilled to the total quantity of pipe listed in the Proposal for updates to the TESC Plans and <br /> required close out activities. <br /> Bid Item 27 - Erosion and Sediment Control Lead <br /> Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) <br /> Payment shall be calculated based on the ratio of pipe installed and backfilled to the total quantity <br /> of pipe listed on the Proposal. The unit price for Erosion and Sediment Control (TESC) Lead shall <br /> be full compensation for the Project Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Lead as outlined in <br /> Section 8-01.3(1)B and in accordance with Washington Department of Ecology and local agency <br /> requirements. <br /> ' Bid Item 28 - Erosion/Water Pollution Control <br /> Measurement and Payment: Force Account (FA) <br /> This Force Account bid item shall be accomplished in accordance with 1-09.6 FORCE ACCOUNT; <br /> except, as modified below. The amount indicated in the Proposal for this bid item is to provide a <br /> common bid amount.
