ICITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> Specify: Refers to information described, shown, noted or presented in any manner in the <br /> Contract. <br /> I Submittals: The information required by the Contract Documents provided by Contractor to the <br /> City's Representative or City. <br /> Total Float: The amount of time a given activity or path of activities may be delayed before it will <br /> affect the Completion Date. <br /> Traffic: Both vehicular and non-vehicular traffic, such as pedestrians, bicyclists, wheelchairs, and <br /> equestrian traffic. <br /> I Unabsorbed Overhead: The reduction or loss of contribution to recovery of the Contractor's <br /> Overhead costs realized by the result of reduced Project or Contractor billings, or both, due to any <br /> reason whatsoever, including a Project extension. <br /> IUnit Price Work: Refers to items of Work identified by unit prices in the Proposal. <br /> ISECTION 1-02 BID PROCEDURES AND CONDITIONS <br /> 1-02.1 Prequalification of Bidders <br /> IDelete 1-02.1 and substitute the following: <br /> 1-02.1 Bidder Responsibility Criteria <br /> 1-02.1(1) Mandatory Bidder Responsibility Criteria <br /> (******) <br /> 1 Bidder shall meet mandatory responsibility criteria in accordance with RCW 39.04.350(1). <br /> The City may require the Bidder to submit documentation demonstrating compliance with <br /> the criteria under this 1-02.1(1). The Bidder must: <br /> I1. Registration. Have a current certificate of registration as a contractor in compliance <br /> with chapter 18.27 RCW, which must have been in effect at the time of Bid submittal; <br /> and <br /> I2. UBI. Have a current Washington Unified Business Identifier (UBI) number; and <br /> 3. State Requirements. If applicable: <br /> I a. Have Industrial Insurance (workers' compensation) coverage for the bidder's <br /> employees working in Washington, as required in Title 51 RCW; <br /> b. Have a Washington Employment Security Department number, as required in <br /> I Title 50 RCW; and <br /> c. Have a Washington Department of Revenue state excise tax registration <br /> number, as required in Title 82 RCW. <br /> I 4. Disqualification. Not be disqualified from bidding on any public works contract under <br /> RCW 39.06.010 or 39.12.065(3). <br /> 5. Prevailing Wage Training. Unless Bidder has completed three or more public works <br /> I projects and had a valid business license for three or more years, Bidder must have <br /> received Department of Labor and Industries training on the requirements related to <br /> public works and prevailing wage under RCW 39.12 and RCW 39.04. <br /> 1 5. Certification of Wage Compliance. Within the three-year period immediately <br /> preceding the date of the bid solicitation, not have been determined by a final and <br /> binding citation and notice of assessment issued by the department of labor and <br /> I <br /> POE Combined Sewer Main Imp.
