Later Phase Eclipse Mill Project
CONSULTANT shall prepare TESC and Site Preparation plans to address the
demolition or removal of existing features and site grading, incorporating
information made available from the CITY and Shelter Holdings (DEVELOPER).
600.1.3 Stormwater & Utilities (KPFF)
CONSULTANT shall prepare and submit a memorandum documenting the
proposed improvements and the basis of exemption from the requirements of
flow control, water quality and Low Impact Development (LID) BMPs.
600.1.4 Utility Coordination (KPFF)
Impacts to existing utilities are not anticipated with the work along the shoreline
and no coordination with utility companies is anticipated to be performed by the
CONSULTANT.
600.1.5 CSO Outfall Repair! Replacement (KPFF)
CONSULTANT shall provide engineering services to evaluate and design an
extension, if necessary, of the existing Combined Sewer Overflow(CSO) Outfall
to the Snohomish River.
600.1.06 Waterfront Structures/Amenities (KPFF)
CONSULTANT shall further develop the design of the waterfront structures and
amenities from 2012, including the viewpoint pier, gangway/ramp, floating dock
and debris deflector, including piling support for these structures. The design
calculations and plans shall be updated to meet current industry standards and
governing codes for waterfront structures.
600.1.07 Relocated Trail Boardwalk
CONSULTANT shall prepare design drawings and calculations for a boardwalk
over wetland areas for the relocated riverbank trail.
600.1.08 Shoreline Stabilization Design Development (BlueCoast)
The CONSULTANT shall develop up to three concepts for soft shoreline
stabilization along the project shoreline areas in coordination with the
CONSULTANT Team and the CITY. The concepts will be evaluated using
hydrodynamic modeling (see Task 4)to evaluate performance and hydrodynamic
stability. Geotechnical and seismic considerations will also be taken into account
in development of the shoreline concepts. (this work is scoped in other tasks).
Areas of shoreline stabilization include along the Waterfront Park and upstream
limits where the bank has eroded. Soft shoreline stabilization measure will only
be employed in the latter limits if there is insufficient space to simply lay back the
slope.
The CONSULTANT shall develop plan view and typical section figures for each
of the three concepts and a summary comparison matrix for review by the CITY.
Once a preferred option is selected by the CITY, the CONSULTANT shall finalize
the geometry and materials for the preferred option using additional
hydrodynamic modeling (see Task 4).
Subtask 600.2—Prepare 60% Level Design Plan Specifications
The CONSULTANT shall prepare the project specifications in CSI format for the 60%
level design plans.
