2.1.2 Element 2: Establish Construction Access
List and describe BMPs:
• BMP C105: Stabilized Construction Entrance/Exit per City of Everett Standard Drawing
No 201
• BMP C106: Wheel Wash
• BMP C107: Construction Road/Parking Area Stabilization
• BMP C140: Dust Control
Construction access or activities occurring on unpaved areas shall be minimized, where
necessary, access points shall be stabilized to minimize the tracking of sediment onto public
roads. The contractor and Project Manager or designee shall relocate facilities as necessary as
construction progresses. If the entrance is not preventing sediment from being tracked onto
pavement, then alternative measures to keep the streets free of sediment shall be used. This
may include replacement/cleaning of the existing quarry spalls, street sweeping, an increase in
the dimensions of the entrance, or the installation of a wheel wash.
Installation Schedules: Prior to earthmoving activity and maintained throughout construction.
Inspection and Maintenance plan: Per current edition of City of Everett Stormwater
Management Manual.
Responsible Staff: CESCL
Page 17
