ICity of Everett 001113 - 1 2022 Tulalip Water Pipeline Mortar Repair UT 3774 I SECTION 00 1113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS I I Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2022 Tulalip Pipeline Mortar Repair project will be received at the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door#5, Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. The Purchasing Counter I is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 3:00pm. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The engineer's estimate for this Project is $1,000,000, not including sales tax. IThis Project is located in Segments 1 N and 4 of the below-ground Tulalip Water Pipeline, located along E. Grand Avenue in Everett, WA and through Smith Island along Frontage I Road. Traffic Control for the portions of the project in WSDOT ROW (529) is subject to the WSDOT General Permit, which the City will acquire prior to the start of Construction. The Contractor is responsible for the installation and maintenance of traffic control to meet Ithe conditions of the general permit. Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and I equipment necessary to repair field-applied joint mortar on approximately 157 pipe joints in approximately 6200 feet of 48" diameter steel pipe with welded lab joints. The Contract also allows for up to 500 feet of crack repair in the factory-applied cement mortar lining, as needed. The Contractor must comply with strict time limitations for construction, which are discussed in the Contract Documents. Within seven days of notice to proceed, the I Contractor shall submit a work schedule for meeting the deadline of repairs by April 29, 2022. Curing of cement mortar, disinfection, and flushing may occur after April 29th, 2022 but pipeline must be put back into service by May 14, 2022. Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
