ICity of Everett 001113 - 1 <br /> 2022 Tulalip Water Pipeline Mortar Repair UT 3774 <br /> I <br /> SECTION 00 1113 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> I <br /> I Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2022 Tulalip Pipeline Mortar Repair <br /> project will be received at the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door#5, Everett, <br /> WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. The Purchasing Counter <br /> I is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 3:00pm. At the appointed time, all bids will be <br /> opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The link for the webcast is located at <br /> https//www.everettwa.gov/319/purchasing. For questions regarding logging into the <br /> I webcast call (425) 257-8903. The engineer's estimate for this Project is $1,000,000, not <br /> including sales tax. <br /> IThis Project is located in Segments 1 N and 4 of the below-ground Tulalip Water Pipeline, <br /> located along E. Grand Avenue in Everett, WA and through Smith Island along Frontage <br /> I Road. Traffic Control for the portions of the project in WSDOT ROW (529) is subject to <br /> the WSDOT General Permit, which the City will acquire prior to the start of Construction. <br /> The Contractor is responsible for the installation and maintenance of traffic control to meet <br /> Ithe conditions of the general permit. <br /> Work being performed includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials and <br /> I equipment necessary to repair field-applied joint mortar on approximately 157 pipe joints <br /> in approximately 6200 feet of 48" diameter steel pipe with welded lab joints. The Contract <br /> also allows for up to 500 feet of crack repair in the factory-applied cement mortar lining, <br /> as needed. The Contractor must comply with strict time limitations for construction, which <br /> are discussed in the Contract Documents. Within seven days of notice to proceed, the <br /> I Contractor shall submit a work schedule for meeting the deadline of repairs by April 29, <br /> 2022. Curing of cement mortar, disinfection, and flushing may occur after April 29th, 2022 <br /> but pipeline must be put back into service by May 14, 2022. <br /> IFree-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and <br /> Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to <br /> www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of <br /> Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with <br /> the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous <br /> I reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that <br /> Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and <br /> to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will <br /> not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line <br /> plan room for addenda issued on this project.
