Where directed by the fire code official,specific areas shall be designated and those areas are to <br /> be marked with diagonal striping across the width of the fire lane.Diagonal marking shall be <br /> used in conjunction with painted curbs and/or edge striping and shall run at an angle of 30 to 60 <br /> degrees from one side to the other.These diagonal lines shall be in red traffic paint, parallel <br /> with each other,at least 6 inches in width,and 24 inches apart.
