Port Gardner Storage Facility Scope of Work 1-06-22 <br /> ■ Structural fill <br /> • Seismic considerations <br /> • Perform and manage survey subconsultant services to support the demolition and design of <br /> the PGSF.The survey area will be limited to the Kimberly-Clark WWTP property. Specific tasks <br /> to be carried out by the survey subconsultant include: <br /> o Perform topographic field survey of the KC property and north parking lot. Survey <br /> shall include but is not limited to the following: <br /> • Identify existing utilities, improvements, man-made features, roadways, <br /> boundaries, critical elevations, existing structures, natural features, and <br /> grades within the limits of work.The field survey shall include enough detail <br /> to produce a base map with boundary information, contours, and other <br /> topographic information. <br /> o Establish horizontal and vertical control points based on the project's control system <br /> and information for contract documents including survey points, a basis of bearing, <br /> benchmarks for vertical control, and datum information for development of base <br /> mapping. <br /> o Laser scanning of existing site buildings and infrastructure and development of 3D <br /> model of existing conditions. <br /> o Provide pothole surveys to identify the location and crown elevation of existing buried <br /> piping. <br /> o Provide an equation to convert elevations from the 1988 NAVD, 1929 NGVD,and the <br /> old mill datums used for the 1980 record drawings to allow for conversion of elevation callouts <br /> from older drawing sets. <br /> • Perform and manage subconsultant services for inspection of existing buried yard piping to <br /> inform the demolition and design project phases. <br /> o Condition assessment of site process and yard piping including the following: <br /> • 36-inch diameter neutralization basin to aeration basin distribution piping <br /> • 32-inch diameter effluent pipeline <br /> • 18-inch diameter aeration basin drain lines <br /> • 54-inch diameter aeration basin to secondary clarifier line <br /> • 36-inch diameter Secondary clarifier to effluent pump station pipeline <br /> • 30-inch dimeter sludge recycle pipeline <br /> • 36-inch and 42-inch diameter influent transmission lines. <br /> • Piping associated with the north parking area catch basin <br /> o Verify materials of construction for process and yard pipes inspected under this <br /> phase. <br /> o Develop a condition assessment report summarizing the findings of the pipeline <br /> investigations to inform project demolition and design. <br /> • Manage subconsultant services for structural/material testing of the existing structures. <br /> • BC conducted structural and process mechanical condition assessment of the neutralization <br /> basins. <br /> 8 <br />
