Port Gardner Storage Facility Scope of Work 1-06-22 <br /> Work Products <br /> • Final (90%) demolition design drawings <br /> • Division 1, 2, 26 and 31 demo specifications <br /> Phase 250 - Demolition Bid Documents and Procurement <br /> Objective: BC will prepare detailed design documents suitable for bidding and constructing. <br /> Engineering design and analyses performed under this task include the design elements described <br /> under Phase 240.This Phase includes bid period support. <br /> Activities/Approach:This task includes the following activities: <br /> • Develop bid set(100%) demolition design drawings. <br /> • Develop final set of demolition specification sections. <br /> • Assist City with integration of technical specifications into City's contract documents (Division <br /> 0). <br /> • Submit bid (100%) demolition design package to the City. <br /> • Preparation of Bid Addenda to answer Bidder questions and provide edits, changes, or <br /> clarifications to bid documents. <br /> • Complete conformed "for construction" contract documents incorporating addenda from the <br /> bidding period. <br /> • Respond to contractor RFIs during bidding period <br /> • Attend pre-bid meeting <br /> • Provide input to construction phase permits of a technical nature <br /> • Review bid submissions along with the City, noting any informalities. Check bidder references <br /> as appropriate. <br /> Task Assumptions <br /> • Bidder qualifications will be included in the bidding documents (i.e. no separate pre- <br /> qualification step prior to formal bid period). <br /> • Total of 20 bidder questions during bid period. <br /> • Total of 4 addendum, that will consist of drawing updates (noted with revision clouds) and <br /> changes to the text on contents of the specifications. <br /> • Total of 5 bid submissions. <br /> • One electronic deliverable(PDF)set of"for construction"documents will be provided for the <br /> Conformed Documents. No hard copy prints are included as part of this scope. <br /> Everett Responsibilities <br /> • Coordinate bid period activities. <br /> • Finalize Instructions to Bidders, General and Supplementary Conditions. <br /> • Solicit and administer public bids for the demolition package. <br /> • Receive and disseminate requests for information to Consultant and City responders. <br /> • Hold pre-bid meeting and pre-bid tours by prospective contractors. <br /> • Review bids. <br /> • Obtain construction phase permits, or assign responsibility to contractor. <br /> • Award construction contract to lowest, responsive and qualified bidder.Administer and <br /> 13 <br />
