Port Gardner Storage Facility Scope of Work 1-06-22
operating and maintenance (0&M) costs of the facility and a basis design.
Task Assumptions
• TMs will be 5 -10 pages each on average and included as appendix to the Site Design
Alternatives Analysis Report.
• Alternatives Analysis Report will be a summary of the approach and conclusion of the TMs
and approximately 10 pages.
Everett Responsibilities
• Provide consolidated review comments on TMs and draft Alternatives Analysis.
Meetings
• Workshops covered under Phase 300.
Work Products
• Flushing System TM, draft and final
• Pre-screening and Grit Removal TM, draft and final
• Pumping Systems TM, draft and final
• Control Strategy and Monitoring TM, draft and final
• Stormwater Management TM, draft and final
• Odor Control TM, draft and final
• Electrical and Standby Power TM, draft and final
• Architectural Concepts and Criteria TM, draft and final
• Project Delivery TM, draft and final
• Alternatives Analysis Report, draft and final
Phase 319 -Stormwater Treatment Concept Design
Objective Assess, refine, evaluate, and analyze prior stormwater improvement facility alternatives
into a modified recommended stormwater facilities improvements plan to carry forward into
preliminary design.
Activities/Approach:
• Visit the Port Gardner area and perform field reconnaissance of stormwater drainage basins
potentially tributary to the Port Gardner stormwater treatment facility.
• Conduct hydrologic analysis of the separated and potentially separated tributary stormwater
drainage basins (Sewer M, Grand Ave Phase 1 and 2, and Rucker Hill, other drainage areas
such as Marine View Drive).Analysis will be completed using continuous simulation modeling
(MGSFlood or WWHM)to estimate required design flows (conveyance and treatment) and the
targeted 91% annual water quality treatment volume.
• Summarize resulting preliminary design flows (conveyance and treatment) and water quality
treatment volumes.
• Provide a range of treatment rates and equalizing storage volumes to achieve the annual
water quality treatment volume.
• Establish design criteria for stormwater influent conveyance drain and effluent storm water
pump stations.
18
