Port Gardner Storage Facility Scope of Work 1-06-22 <br /> Everett Responsibilities <br /> • Provide consolidated review comments on TMs and draft Stormwater Treatment Design <br /> Report. <br /> Meetings <br /> • Workshops covered under Phase 300. <br /> Work Products <br /> • Draft watershed basin technical memorandum. <br /> • Draft pretreatment technical memorandum. <br /> • Draft and Final Stormwater Treatment Design Report(PDF and Word files). <br /> Phase 320 - Basis of Design <br /> Objective: Prepare documents to describe the design intent and decisions for each discipline and <br /> each facility. Discipline focused TMs will encompass general criteria applicable to all facilities and <br /> facility focused TMs will encompass design criteria specific to that facility. <br /> Activities/Approach:This task includes the following activities: <br /> • Site Civil - This will include an overall analysis of the site plan and the civil design criteria <br /> and standards applicable for all facilities and structures. Document design criteria specific to <br /> site civil elements including roadway access requirements; overall site general arrangement <br /> of major yard piping, utilities,traffic flow, emergency access, roadways and sidewalks, <br /> entrances, site security; fire protection requirements; and on-site stormwater collection and <br /> management. <br /> • Architectural - Document the code required architectural design criteria for the above- <br /> ground facilities.This will identify building type, identify ingress/egress,space plans and <br /> other architectural requirements. <br /> • Structural - Document the structural design criteria. This will include applicable structural <br /> codes that will be used through the design process, preferred materials of construction, and <br /> considerations for geotechnical conditions. <br /> • Process and Process Mechanical - Document the process mechanical design criteria. <br /> Criteria will include equipment redundancy; equipment type; access space (setbacks and <br /> clearances); piping size and redundancy requirements; potable water requirements; pump <br /> selection/hydraulic calculation requirements; and materials selection/corrosion control <br /> requirements. Prepare hydraulic profile and process flow diagram. <br /> • Building Mechanical - Document the HVAC and plumbing design criteria. Criteria will include <br /> equipment redundancy; equipment type; access space; space classifications and ventilation <br /> rates; plumbing requirements; potable water requirements; Washington State Energy Code, <br /> and establish ambient design conditions. <br /> • Electrical - Document design criteria specific to site electrical elements including power <br /> utility source and coordination requirements; overall site general arrangement of service <br /> entrance,transformers,standby generator, and major duct banks. Criteria will include a <br /> description of the overall facility electrical structure; applicable codes and standards that will <br /> be used through the design process;facility-wide one-line diagram; and preferred materials <br /> of construction. <br /> • Electrical Classifications - Define the applicable electrical classifications for the areas of the <br /> facility.This work will use NFPA 820 to define the appropriate electrical classification and <br /> 20 <br />
