Port Gardner Storage Facility Scope of Work 1-06-22 <br /> ventilation rates for each area or room, where appropriate. <br /> • Instrumentation and Controls - Document the instrumentation and control design criteria. <br /> This will include overall system control architecture; operator graphical interface <br /> requirements; controller distribution and control room dimension and location; and network <br /> and fieldbus media and protocols. <br /> • Combined Sewer Influent - Document design criteria specific to the influent to the facility. <br /> This will include description of the hydraulics and piping configuration required to deliver <br /> combined sewer flows to the facility. <br /> • Combined Sewer Debris Removal - Document design criteria specific to the screening and <br /> grit removal facility including overall general arrangement of channels and equipment; <br /> material handling processes and equipment; building modifications; and odor control <br /> collection and treatment(if any). <br /> • Combined Sewer Storage -Aeration Basins - Document design criteria specific to the <br /> conversion of the aeration basins to combined sewer storage. Criteria will include hydraulics <br /> and capacities;flushing system requirements; drainage system capacities;general <br /> arrangement of equipment and piping;fall protection systems; maintenance access <br /> requirements; and odor control collection and treatment(if any). <br /> • Combined Sewer Storage - Clarifiers - Document design criteria specific to the conversion of <br /> the clarifiers to combined sewer storage. Criteria will include hydraulics and capacities; <br /> flushing system requirements; drainage system capacities; general arrangement of <br /> equipment and piping;fall protection systems; maintenance access requirements; and odor <br /> control collection and treatment(if any). <br /> • Effluent Pump Station - Document design criteria specific to effluent pump station. Criteria <br /> will include hydraulic analysis; preliminary pump selections; general arrangement of pump <br /> station and supporting electrical building;foundation requirements; and maintenance access <br /> requirements. <br /> • Operations Building - Document design criteria specific to operations building(if included). <br /> Criteria will include architectural use programming; ingress/egress requirements;security <br /> provisions;fire protection requirements; control room general arrangement; interior/exterior <br /> surface treatments; and Washington State energy code requirements. <br /> Task Assumptions <br /> • TMs will be 5-10 pages each on average and included as appendix to the Basis of Design <br /> Report. Some TMs may be combined, as appropriate. <br /> • Basis of Design Report will be a summary of the approach and conclusion of the TMs and <br /> approximately 15-20 pages. <br /> • Architectural elevations and treatments and building mechanical elements and layouts will <br /> be generally deferred to intermediate design phase. <br /> Everett Responsibilities <br /> • Provide input on the recommended improvements. <br /> • Review and provide comments on the Basis of Design Report. <br /> • Participate in Basis of Design workshop. <br /> Meetings <br /> • Workshops and internal meetings covered under Phase 300. <br /> 21 <br />
